Forge: questions and answers
An iPhone app that logs meals, workouts, weight, water and sleep from one chat box. You type, Forge drafts the entry, and you confirm it. Connect ChatGPT or Claude and they can read your data and answer questions about it.
About a minute. Instead of a long questionnaire, you write one message about yourself and your goal. Forge fills in your profile, asks only for anything missing, and you pick a pace. You can change any of it later in your profile.
Yes. Write it the way you would say it, for example “two eggs and toast with butter”. Forge splits it into items, looks each one up in its food data and shows a draft with calories, protein, carbs and fat. You can also log from a photo of your plate, a photo of a nutrition label, or a barcode.
AI can be wrong. Forge matches items to food databases where it can and marks the rest as estimates. You review every meal before it is saved, and every entry can be edited later. Weighed portions beat guesses.
If you give an amount, such as “200 g of rice” or “2 slices”, Forge uses it. If you don’t, it uses a typical serving for that food. Each draft is marked as an estimate, and the edit screen shows which items were matched to food data and which were estimated. Change a portion and the numbers update.
A plate photo tells Forge which foods are there and roughly how much. A photo can’t show weight, so those portions are estimates, and a short note such as “about 150 g” helps. A nutrition label photo gives Forge the values printed on it. Either way you get a draft to confirm or edit, like a typed meal.
Type it in one line, such as “ran 5k in 30 minutes” or “bench press 3x8 at 60 kg”. Forge records the activity, duration and distance, plus sets, reps and weight for strength work, and estimates calories burned from the activity, your body weight and the time.
Yes. On the dashboard, tap View all, then use the pencil or the bin icon on any entry. Meals and workouts open a full edit screen.
Not yet. Forge is coming to iPhone first, and Android is planned. Choose Android when you join the waitlist and we will email you when it is ready.

In Forge, go to Profile, then Connected assistants, and generate a link code. Give the code to your assistant: it works once, for 10 minutes. After that, what you tell your assistant arrives in Forge’s AI tab as a draft you approve. Disconnect any time on the same screen. It is included in the plan.
No. They arrive as drafts in Forge’s AI tab and count only after you approve them. Drafts use your assistant’s own estimates, so check the numbers and edit them if needed before you approve.
Connect ChatGPT or Claude and it can act as your personal coach, using your real Forge data: what you ate, how you trained and how your weight changed. Its answers are general information, not medical advice.
Right now, up to four weeks of meals and workouts item by item, longer summaries of your workouts, and up to a year of weight, water and sleep. Your full history stays in Forge.
No. Forge records your data. Answers from ChatGPT or Claude are general information, not medical advice. For a health problem, talk to a doctor.
Your data is stored in the United States. Meal and workout text and photos are sent to OpenAI to be parsed. If you connect ChatGPT or Claude, what you say to them goes to OpenAI or Anthropic. The privacy policy lists every provider.
Yes. In the app, go to Profile, then Account Settings, then Delete Account. You are signed out everywhere at once, and the account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period.
