Turn ChatGPT or Claude into a coach that knows your numbers

Connect Forge to ChatGPT or Claude. Your assistant reads what you ate, how you trained and how your weight changed, and answers questions about it. When it logs something for you, it arrives in Forge as a draft, and nothing is saved until you approve it.

What you can ask

Your totals show what happened. Your AI helps you see why.

Tip: start with “Check Forge” so your assistant reads your data instead of guessing.

Before dinner

You: Check Forge: can I still have pasta tonight?

Assistant, reading your Forge data: You have room for a normal portion today. How much are you planning, and with what sauce? Then I’ll check it against the protein you still need.

At the gym

You: It’s Day A. What did I lift last time?

Assistant, reading your Forge data: From Forge, your last Day A: lat pulldown 45 kg, 3 sets of 10. Leg press 70 kg, 3 sets of 12. Seated row 45 kg, 3 sets of 10. On the pulldown, stay at 45 kg until you get two more reps, then go up.

End of the week

You: Check Forge: give me a weekly review.

Assistant, reading your Forge data: You trained four times and hit your calorie target on five of seven days. Protein was below your goal on most days. Fat ran over it, mostly from small extras: chocolate, syrups, milk in coffee.

Three weeks back

You: Look at my meals from the last three weeks. Is anything missing?

Assistant, reading your Forge data: In the meals you logged, vegetables show up on only a few days. Most meals are protein and grains. Adding vegetables to lunch and dinner would be a simple start.

Examples of questions an assistant can answer from your Forge data. The answers come from ChatGPT or Claude, not from Forge, and are not medical advice.

Why not just track in a chat?

Long chats forget. Forge doesn’t. Chats get deleted, split up and misremembered. Forge keeps the record. Track food in one chat and training in another, and sooner or later a chat gets deleted, the oldest messages drop out, or a summary skips a session. Forge stores every approved entry for as long as you track. Your assistant reads it from Forge each time you ask, instead of relying on what the chat remembers.

How far back it can look

Right now, up to four weeks of meals and workouts item by item, longer summaries of your workouts, and up to a year of weight, water and sleep. Your full history stays in Forge.

What your assistant can do

What it cannot do

How to connect

  1. Add the Forge connector in ChatGPT or Claude. Step-by-step instructions for each assistant will be published here at launch.
  2. In Forge, go to Profile, then Connected assistants, and tap Generate link code.
  3. Tell your assistant “Link my Forge account with code 123456”, using your own code. A code works once and expires after 10 minutes.
  4. Try it: “Log a chicken wrap and a flat white for lunch”. The draft appears in Forge’s AI tab for you to approve.
Forge Connected assistants screen: a six-digit one-time link code with its 10-minute countdown and the instruction to tell ChatGPT or Claude “Link my Forge account with code 123456”

Disconnecting

In Forge, go to Profile, then Connected assistants, and tap Disconnect next to the assistant. It loses access straight away.

Privacy

What you type to ChatGPT is handled by OpenAI, and what you type to Claude by Anthropic, under their own terms. Forge receives what the assistant sends through the connector: the drafts it creates and its requests to read your data. Privacy notice

Cost

The connector is included in the Forge plan at no extra cost. You use your own ChatGPT or Claude account. Whether your plan there supports connectors is up to OpenAI or Anthropic. Pricing
